Deena Duarte ’99 has been selected to serve as President-Elect of the Alumni Association Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 board year, shadowing current president, Ken Wheeler, and then assuming the position of President on June 1, 2025. Additionally, two new members will join the board for the upcoming term, replacing two outgoing members. These changes were recommended by the Alumni Board Executive and Membership committees and approved by the full board on April 27, 2024.
We thank our outgoing members and welcome new members, and extend heartfelt thanks to the outgoing 2023-2024 committee chairs for their contributions and dedication to McMurry.

Dedicated to the advancement of McMurry University, the Alumni Association Board of Directors supports the University’s strategic initiatives as well as the ongoing relationships between alumni and their continued involvement with the University.
The Alumni Board consists of 30 members who serve for a term of three (3) years. New members are elected annually at the regular spring meeting.
