Dear McMurry Alumni,
What an incredible fall it has been at McMurry! Homecoming 2025 was a wonderful reminder of the spirit and connection that unite us all as members of the McMurry family. Seeing so many of you back on campus, sharing memories, celebrating milestones, and supporting our students truly embodied what it means to be McMurry Made.
As we look ahead to the spring, there are even more opportunities for connection, celebration, and purpose. We invite you to join Dr. Lynne Murray for the upcoming Rising with Purpose regional events, where we will share the exciting vision for McMurry’s future and celebrate the remarkable impact of our alumni across Texas.
Spring will also bring one of our most special traditions, Spring Alumni Weekend. We will gather for the Night of Distinction, honoring this year’s Alumni Achievement Award recipients and celebrating the accomplishments and service that exemplify McMurry’s mission. Additionally, the Alumni Association Board of Directors will meet further to advance opportunities for alum engagement and student support.
Be on the lookout for information regarding alum volunteer opportunities in your inbox. We are also excited about growing opportunities for alumni and students to connect through mock interviews, career development events, and student discovery trips. These experiences help students explore their calling and prepare for life after McMurry, and your involvement makes a lasting difference.
When we attend events, participate in mentorship, and provide service, we demonstrate the pride and purpose that define us. Thank you for representing our university so well and for keeping the McMurry spirit alive wherever you are. Together, we show that we are and always will be McMurry Made.
